It currently takes 5 clicks to update the confirmation status.

By adapting the existing “status notification pill” to an active toggle switch this could be a single-click action for individual jobs.

For batch processing, the “actions” drop-down could easily nest the 3 status options without needing the lightbox popup (click 4 at present).
